Nancy and the Jam Fancys are 5 young men Moruya, 300km south of Sydney, a town
known for its granite and oysters. Their band grew out of the boredom of their small
town during the plague years.

Their name came from an acid trip vocalist Lewis Griffin shared with two local pigs
“Nancy” and “Jam Fancy”. They make music that recalls the halcyon age of Australian
punk music, underpinned by one of the more remarkable rock and roll voices in recent
times.

Their early recordings have seen them support Mini Skirt, Pist Idiots, The Hard Ons, The Pretty Littles, West Thebarton and
Bad//Dreems and attracted the attention of Endless Recordings.

South Coast indie pub quintet Nancy & The Jam Fancys deliver the next preview from their forthcoming debut LP with “Come On Over” out through Endless Recordings on Feb 9th, 2024.

“Come On Over” continues the run of form across their 2023 eponymous debut EP and most recently the impressive single “Mirror My Melody”, that has seen these five Far South Coast punks beginning to inspire new crowds and radio listeners country wide with their melodic and emotionally intelligent take on indie guitar pub rock.

Nancy & The Jam Fancies tracked their upcoming debut with Andrew Hehir (The Scientists, Hugo Race, Bad Dreems) at his busy inner-north Melbourne Soundpark studio inviting Mikey Young (ECSR, Royal Headache) to handle mix duties. Lewis Griffin, and the band featuring Bryce Mizzi, Alex Blakeney, Brett Muskett and Cody Hopkins will head out for more shows in support of “Come On Over” this February

Nancy & The Jam Fancys “Come On Over” out Feb 9th through Endless Recordings.

“Come On Over” registers Nancy & The Jam Fancys’ most honest studio moment to date, the gravelly baritone of lead vocalist Lewis Griffin pushing ever higher while leaning deep into his palpable regret. The band ride Griffin’s high wave emotion, crashing in behind him, bringing hope when it’s needed. This deeper feeling the runs throughout the bands new material and promises a taste of the quality still to come.

Griffin offers that, "It's bloody hard to be real with yourself sometimes. In relationships, those moments of poor behaviour you find yourself remembering, I think you've got to own them. It might not win someone back, or excuse your behaviour, but at least it helps you become a better fucking human being".
